We also run a portfolio of media properties. Each one owns an intersection—through writing, podcasts, events, and community:

The goal is to build and own audience at each of these intersections.

The Role

We're looking for an EIC to own these properties editorially and operationally. This isn't a behind-the-scenes role. You'll commission, produce, and be the public face—on stage, on mic, in the newsletter.

This is running a real and growing media company. You're a working writer and producer who also commissions from others and represents the brands publicly across all three verticals.

You'll Own

  • Editorial vision and calendar across all three properties
  • Content production—writing newsletters, hosting/editing podcasts, programming conferences
  • Guest and speaker pipeline—sourcing, booking, relationship management
  • Stage presence—hosting, moderating panels, conducting interviews at BRXND, RIDE AI, and partner events
  • Audience development and community growth
  • Commissioning contributors and managing editorial relationships

You're Probably

  • A working writer with a strong point of view on AI and technology
  • Comfortable on stage and on camera—you've hosted, moderated, or keynoted before
  • Experienced across formats: events, podcasts, newsletters
  • AI-native in how you work—using AI is as natural as breathing oxygen, no explanation needed
  • Able to operate with minimal structure and high autonomy
  • Plugged into the AI/marketing/tech conversation—you know the players and the discourse
